James Balducci MD MBA has extensive experience both in clinical perinatal medicine as well as medical education and management. He has practiced maternal fetal medicine for almost 30 years and has numerous peer reviewed publications to his credit.
In addition to clinical medicine, he has been active in medical education and administration with current clinical professorships at both University of Arizona and Creighton University Schools of Medicine. He is a former Associate Dean of Creighton School of Medicine. Finally, he has held several department leadership roles such as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology both at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania. Many of these positions have afforded him extensive experience in telemedicine services and program creation. He is passionate about creating novel strategies to the obstacles of providing exemplary patient care and has co-developed PerinaTEL with these thoughts in mind.
Leadership roles in medical education and administration have been central to Dr Balducci's vision for PerinaTEL. Having experienced first hand the challenges faced by practitioners in the current healthcare environment, his goal is to develop resources that support front line clinicians while also assuring high quality maternal and fetal outcomes.
